The Davis Global Center is the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s (UNMC) new headquarters for the Inter-Professional Experiential Center for Enduring Learning (iEXCELSM) program. It is also where some of the nation’s earliest isolation and monitoring of individuals exposed to the coronavirus occurred. The 191,884 square foot clinical simulation facility hosts a variety of complex spaces and state-of-the-art technology for providing advanced training for healthcare providers.

Optimized Systems is working with UNMC’s facility team to optimize the performance and energy efficiency of the new facility’s mechanical and building management systems. Priority has been given to the isolation areas located within the facility to ensure proper negative pressurization of these areas and the safety of adjacent areas. Optimized Systems is also on-call to provide support during off-hours.
